Fair Weather Expected Across Most Parts of the Country Today

The country is currently experiencing partial effects of westerly and local winds, with fair weather expected in most regions.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the weather will remain mostly clear, with partly to generally cloudy conditions in the hilly areas. This afternoon, Sudurpaschim province and other hilly regions will see some cloud cover, while the rest of the country will enjoy mainly fair conditions. Light snowfall is anticipated in a few locations in the high hills and mountainous areas, with a slight chance of light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in isolated parts of the hilly region.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions, including Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces. Light snowfall is expected in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Over the next 24 hours, some high-altitude regions may continue to experience light snowfall. The Division has advised the public to take necessary precautions due to the potential impact of these weather conditions on daily life, health, transportation, and aviation.
