New Chinese ambassador presents credentials to President Bhandari

The new ambassador of China to Nepal, Chen Song, presented his letter of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday (today).
He presented his credentials to President Bhandari amid a special ceremony held at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.
High-ranking officials of Nepal government were also present on that occasion.
Chen Song replaces Hou Yanqi, who has already returned to China after completing her four-year tenure in October.
Chen is a familiar face in Nepal’s diplomatic circles as he has in the past been a part of several meetings with Nepali officials.
