Interpol Head Jurgen Stock has expressed grief over the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara, Nepal today.
Jurgen expressed his grief over the incident on Twitter and expressed his support to Nepalese authorities.
He said that his thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims of the plane crash.
“My thoughts are with the family and friends of the #NepalPlaneCrash victims. We have offered our full support to Nepalese authorities, including any disaster victim identification assistance which may be needed,” reads tweet.

An ATR 72 aircraft of Yeti Airlines, which flew from Kathmandu Airport on Sunday morning carrying 72 people, including four crew members, crashed near Pokhara Airport.
Over the last 30 years, there have been nearly 30 fatal plane crashes in Nepal, the most recent–before the Pokhara plane crash today–being a Tara Air crash, in May 2022, killing 22 people on board.
