Proposed candidate from Nepali Congress will become the President: NC General Secretary

Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the person proposed by the Nepali Congress (NC) will become the President.

Speaking to reporters at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar on Wednesday, he said, “The President will become the person as proposed by the Nepali Congress.”

In response to the journalist’s question whether Prime Minister Dahal has already given a positive answer, General Secretary Sharma said, “Let’s not talk much about it. It is not appropriate to comment too much on it,” he said. “We are going differently. After some time, you will see the person proposed by the Congress as the President in Sheetal Niwas,” said Sharma.

He also said, “Now, we are at the Speaker’s stage. After the election of the Speaker is over, the time for the discussion of the President will come.”
