Indian Embassy in Kathmandu celebrates India’s 74th Republic Day
The Embassy of India in Kathmandu celebrated the 74th Republic Day of India.
Naveen Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Nepal started the celebrations with unfurling of the national flag of India. The ambassador then read out address to the nation from the President of India.
Similarly, the ambassador also felicitated war widows and next of kins of deceased soldiers by disbursing their dues of NRs. 4.60 crore & blankets.
Likewise, on the ocassion reiterating its commitment to helping retired soldiers, the embassy unveiled Bhu Puu-2022 magazine covering the welfare initiatives of the Government of India..
Ambassador Srivastava also presented books to various institutions.
The Embassy gifted books worth NR 16 Lakh to 23 institutions on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day of India.
