22 Applications for CEO of ADBL

As of Sunday evening, 22 people have applied for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL).

The bank had published an advertisement on January 9 and had been said that applications for CEO could be submitted till January 29. Company Secretary of the bank, Himlal Paudyal informed that 22 people, including employees working in the bank had applied till the last day of submission of applications.

Former Chief Executive Officer of Civil Bank Govind Gurung, Chief Executive Officer of CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC) Purna Prasad Acharya, Former Deputy CEO of Rashtriye Banijya Bank Kabiraj Adhikari, Bhanu Kandel, Tarakhar Adhikari, Bishnudev Yadav, Rameshraj Joshi, Pramesh Kayastha, Kumar K.C. have submitted for the post according to Paudyal.

Similarly, Badri Guragain, Ramraj Upadhyaya, Naresh Kumar Roka, Bishwaprakash Subedi, Ashok Kumar Poudel, Sundarram Bohora, Tilraj Pandey, Bhawani Shankar Chapagain, Arun Kumar Dhungana and Pramodbabu Tiwari have also applied for the post of CEO of the bank.

According to the bank, 5 of the candidates will be shortlisted and selected for the interview on the basis of the candidate’s educational qualification and work experience and the evaluation of the submitted professional action plan. The tenure of the former CEO of the bank, Anil Upadhyaya had ended on December 25.
