US Under Secretary Nuland meets NC President Deuba
US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland called on Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday.
President Deuba and Under Secretary Nuland discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relationship and cooperation in democracy, development and good governance during a courtesy call at the former’s residence in Dhumbarahi.
“Had a wonderful meeting with US Under Secretary. We discussed ways to further strengthen our bilateral relationship and cooperation in democracy, development and good governance. I thanked her for the continued support of the US to Nepal, which is highly valued,” Deuba said in a tweet.
Earlier today, Nuland met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and discussed various matters related to bilateral cooperation and other issues of mutual interests.

Nuland is the first American high official to visit Nepal after the formation of the new government here.
