Former CoAS Rookmangud Katuwal admitted to Hospital

Rookmangud Katuwal, the former Nepal Army Chief of Army Staff has been admitted to the Chhauni-based Birendra Army Hospital.

Katuwal has been suffering from kidney-related ailment for a long time.

The 75-year-old, who was undergoing regular dialysis, was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after he experienced complications in his health.

Katuwal is currently undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) but is out of danger.
