Ambassador Chitralekha Yadav Presents Credentials in Australia

Nepal’s Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, Chitralekha Yadav, presented her Letters of Credence to Governor-General of Australia, Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, during a special ceremony held at the Government House in Canberra on Wednesday.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Yadav paid a courtesy call on the Governor-General, conveying the warm greetings and best wishes of President Ram Chandra Paudel. She also reiterated President Paudel’s invitation for the Governor-General to visit Nepal, underscoring Nepal’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

During their meeting, both sides exchanged views on Nepal-Australia relations, highlighting their mutual trust, cooperation, and strong people-to-people connections.

The event was attended by high-ranking Australian government officials and staff from the Embassy of Nepal in Canberra, marking a significant step in further deepening diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
