Ambassadors Recommended for 8 Countries Including India, US
The cabinet meeting held on Friday recommended the appointment of ambassadors to 8 countries, including India, Denmark, the UK, and Malaysia.
A high-level meeting convened at Singha Durbar on Thursday evening, attended by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, UML Chairman KP Oli, and RSP President Rabi Lamichhane, resulted in a consensus on the allocation of 11 ambassadorial positions among the parties. Based on this agreement, the cabinet made recommendations for ambassadors to 8 countries.
Five individuals from UML, one from the Maoist party, and two from the JSP led by Ashok Rai have been recommended for ambassadorial roles. The meeting did not reach a decision regarding an ambassadorial appointment from the RSP.
Recommended ambassadors are as follows:
-India: Lokdarshan Regmi
-UK: Dr. Vijay Pant
-USA: Chandra Ghimire
-South Korea: Sushil Pyakurel
-Denmark: Sumnima Tuladhar
-Spain: Pushparaj Ranjitkar
-Malaysia: Netraprasad Timalsina
-Saudi Arabia: Abu Sufyan Khan
