Amir of Qatar to Embark on Two-Day Formal Visit to Nepal
The Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu for a two-day formal visit starting April 23.
During his visit, the Qatari Amir is set to engage in discussions with Nepali leaders, focusing on avenues to strengthen cooperation and addressing various issues of mutual interest, according to the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal, Mishal bin Mohammed Al Ansari.
Confirming the anticipated visit, Ambassador Al Ansari stated that several agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed across various sectors to bolster bilateral ties between the two nations.
Emphasizing the significance of the Qatari Amir’s visit, officials have underscored that top priority will be given to addressing issues concerning Nepali migrants and safeguarding their rights.
The forthcoming visit is expected to further deepen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Qatar and Nepal, paving the way for enhanced collaboration across diverse fields for the mutual benefit of both countries.
