Arjundhara Municipality in Jhapa has formalized a sister city relationship with Tono City of Japan through a bilateral agreement aimed at fostering collaboration in agriculture, healthcare, and disaster management.
The agreement was signed on Thursday by Mayor Baldev Singh Gomden of Arjundhara Municipality and Mayor Kazuhiko Tada of Tono City. The sisterly relationship is expected to strengthen ties and encourage knowledge sharing between the two cities.
