Asian Professional Achievement Award 2024 Concludes with Grandeur, Honoring Top Professionals Across Asia

The Asian Professional Achievement Award 2024, marking the 16th anniversary of Season Media and Nepal’s Constitution Day 2081, concluded with a grand celebration on Ashwin 2 (September 18, 2024) at Hotel Himalayan, Kupondole. The prestigious event recognized outstanding professionals from Nepal and other Asian countries for their remarkable contributions in various fields. The event was held under the chief patronage of Honorable Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chairman of the National Assembly.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of several awards to individuals excelling in their respective fields. Dr. Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, entrepreneur and honorary consul of Vietnam to Nepal, was honored with the “Global Diplomacy and Economic Excellence Award.” In the banking sector, Sunil K.C. received the “Outstanding Leadership in Banking Award,” while Dr. Anil Pokharel was awarded the “Leadership Excellence in Nephrology and Public Health Service Award.” Other notable awardees included Cabinet Shrestha, who received the “Iconic Business Entrepreneurship Award,” and Dr. Swagat Shrestha, honored with the “Visionary Educator and Researcher Award.”

In the insurance sector, Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha was awarded the “Visionary Leader in Non-Life Insurance Award,” and Mahendra Raj Kandel was recognized with the “Global Education Leadership Award.” Dr. Piaratna Maharjan received the “Global Peace and Humanitarian Leadership Award.”

Several media professionals were also recognized for their excellence, including Manarishi Dhital, who received the “Outstanding Journalism Award,” and Nirmala Sharma, honored with the “Distinguished Media Professional Award.” In the field of fashion and media, former Miss Nepal and entrepreneur Usha Khadgi was presented with the “Media and Fashion Entrepreneurship Award.”

Other awardees included Amit Agarwal for the “Digital Finance Innovator of the Year Award,” singer Indira Joshi with the “Iconic Performer Award,” and Shukra Chuman, who received the “Outstanding Local Governance Award.” Sunita Adhikari was honored with the “Woman Entrepreneurship Award,” and Pradeep Timilsina was recognized with the “Diaspora Leader in Media and Community Award.” The “Inspiring Youth Entrepreneurship Award” went to Devil Singh Rajput.

The international segment of the awards recognized prominent professionals from across Asia. Waheeb Saleem Chughtai from Pakistan received the “Photojournalism Achievement Award,” Zhang Jinxiang from China was honored with the “Agricultural Innovation and Trade Leadership Award,” and Yui Sibao from Vietnam received the “Global Humanitarian and Culinary Innovator Award.” Other international honorees included Wadsana Rai from Thailand, Su Xui from China, Monirul Islam Sabuj from Bangladesh, Mohsin Masood Dar from Pakistan, Dr. Jayamalini Eaganathan from Malaysia, and Siddharth Chawla from India, who were awarded for their excellence in leadership, photography, hospitality, education, and global business expansion.

The event saw a large turnout of distinguished guests from various sectors. The awards were presented by Honorable Narayan Prasad Dahal, and the ceremony was hosted by fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya. Pradip Raj Onta, Chairman of Season Media, delivered the welcome speech, and the event was supported by an advisory board comprising notable figures such as former minister Eknath Dhakal, senior journalists Kishor Shrestha and Khil Bahadur Bhandari, educator Hari Singh K.C., businessman Amit Sharma, and senior photojournalist Hari Gopal Pradhan.

The Asian Professional Achievement Award 2024 successfully highlighted the outstanding achievements of professionals across Asia, promoting excellence in various industries and sectors.
