Australia’s Ambassador Felicity Volk Pays Farewell Call on Nepal’s National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal
Australia’s Ambassador to Nepal, Felicity Volk, paid a farewell call on the Chairperson of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, at Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting, NA Chairperson Dahal commended Ambassador Volk for her efforts in strengthening Nepal-Australia relations. He emphasized the significance of international support in concluding Nepal’s peace process, expressing hope that Nepal’s efforts would set a global example.
In response, Ambassador Volk expressed her happiness about the recent agreement among political parties on transitional justice. She conveyed optimism that Nepal would soon complete its peace process.
Ambassador Volk, who is returning home after a three-and-a-half-year term in Nepal, shared her gratitude for the hospitality she received and pledged to continue as Nepal’s ‘goodwill ambassador’ in the future.
