Big two parties’ alliance is for national development: UML General Secretary Pokharel
CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said there is no option for two big parties other than to forge alliance on national agenda.
In a press conference organized by Press Chautari Dang in Ghorahi today, he said that it is now necessary for the Nepali Congress and UML to meet to protect the achievements.
“We have not only come together for the government but have collaborated for the development of the country,” he said.
He further asserted that the country has got development and seen epoch-making political changes because of the big parties’ struggle and efforts.
The UML general-secretary suggested the newly-appointed Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, to work in such a way that the legitimacy of the province is confirmed.
Lumbini Chief Minister Acharya, Minister Bhumeshwar Dhakal and other leaders and activists were present on that occasion.
