Bishwa Prakash Sharma’s Birthday Pledge: Sincerity to Two Mothers

Today marks the birthday of Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma, born on 21 December 1970 (2027BS Paush 6, Monday). On this joyous occasion, Sharma took to Facebook to share a touching post, accompanied by a photo featuring both of his mothers.

In his heartfelt message, Sharma expressed his deep appreciation, stating, “I had the good fortune to be born to mother Sabitri Sharma and had the privilege of drinking milk from mother Deukumari Shrestha. Today, on my birthday, I pay my respects to both mothers.” He went on to reminisce about his childhood, revealing that at around 7 years old, he became conscious of Mother Deukumari. Unfortunately, his both mothers are no longer with him.

On the morning of his birthday, Sharma made a solemn resolution while reflecting on both mothers. He pledged, “To be sincere towards the blood of one mother and the milk of the other. May the blessings of both mothers always be upon me!”
