BJP’s Global Outreach: Nepali Leaders to Meet Party President JP Nadda Today
In a significant event under the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in India, leaders from five Nepali political parties are set to meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda today in New Delhi. This meeting is part of the BJP’s global outreach initiative, aimed at fostering international political dialogue.
Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, head of the BJP’s foreign affairs department, explained that the initiative, titled ‘Know BJP’, seeks to educate and engage leaders from around the world on the strategies and ideologies of the BJP. Representatives from the Nepali Congress, UML, Maoist Center, RSP, and Janmat Party are among the invitees.
The Nepali delegation includes notable figures such as Uday Shamser Jabra from the Nepali Congress, Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal of UML, Matrika Yadav from the Maoist Center, Shishir Khanal of the RSP, and Dr. Jayakant Raut from the Janmat Party.
Aside from meeting with President Nadda, the leaders will interact with key Indian officials, including Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. They will be briefed on the intricacies of India’s election process and the BJP’s campaign strategies.
The meeting underscores a significant chapter in diplomatic exchanges facilitated by India’s ruling party, reflecting an interest in strengthening ties with neighboring countries through political and electoral discourse.
