Body of Missing Youth Recovered

The body of Lokendra Shahi, who went missing after jumping off the Karnali bridge on Monday, has been found in Tikapur. According to Shivaraj Joshi, the information officer at the District Administration Office, Shahi’s body was recovered from Sanakatti Ghat at ward 2 of Tikapur Municipality on Thursday.

Shahi was part of a group of 17 youths who had jumped into the Karnali river after Holi celebrations on Monday. They reportedly informed security personnel that they intended to take photographs on the bridge before the incident occurred.
