Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan Injured in Knife Attack at Mumbai Residence

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured early Thursday morning in a knife attack by an intruder at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The 54-year-old actor was hospitalized and required surgery following the incident, which occurred around 2:30 am.

According to Khan’s public relations representative, the attack was part of an attempted burglary at the actor’s home. “Saif Ali Khan is currently in hospital undergoing surgery,” the statement read. “We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation.”

A police official confirmed that an unidentified person entered Khan’s residence and a scuffle ensued between the two. Khan sustained injuries from the knife attack during the confrontation. At the time of the incident, some of Khan’s family members were present at the house.

Khan was quickly transported to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, where he was reported to be out of danger. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, although they did not confirm whether the incident was an attempted robbery.

The Bandra police have arrived at the scene and are conducting a thorough probe.
