Buddha Air Plane Makes Safe Landing After Left Engine Issue

A Buddha Air flight with 72 passengers and four crew members made a safe return to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today after an issue was detected in the aircraft’s left engine.

The flight had initially departed from TIA for Chandragadhi, Jhapa, at 10:37 am. However, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) TIA office reported that the aircraft was diverted back to Kathmandu after the engine issue was identified.

The plane safely landed at TIA at 11:15 am, with no casualties or injuries reported. The CAAN confirmed the safe return in a statement.
