CAAN bars Shree Airlines’ aircraft 9N-ANE from flights
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has barred has Shree Airlines aircraft 9N-ANE following two incidents that took place at Dhangadhi and Bhairahawa airports.
The first incident occurred on May 6 at Dhangadhi airport when the nose landing gear door of the aircraft opened during taxi. The second incident occurred on May 8 at Bhairahawa airport, where a similar issue was reported. As a result, the airline has been ordered to suspend the operation of its aircraft until further notice.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has also taken action against the airline’s maintenance engineers, who have been removed from the roster. The CAAN has stated that it will conduct a thorough investigation into both incidents to determine the cause and ensure that appropriate action is taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
