CAN preparing to send Sandeep Lamichhane to UAE this evening

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is preparing to send Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the Nepali cricket team, to the UAE by this evening.
CAN Acting Secretary Durga Raj Pathak said that they are preparing to send Sandeep to the UAE to participate in the ICC Men’s World Cup League Division 2 .
The move from the cricketing body comes after the Supreme Court opened the ban on sending Lamichhane abroad. Permission was also sought from the ICC for that.
Only on Monday, a joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Sapana Malla Pradhan and Kumar Chudal upheld the Patan High Court’s bail order and allowed Lamichhane to go abroad.
On September 6 last year, a minor filed a complaint against Lamichhane at the Metropolitan Police Circle Gaushala, Kathmandu.
Tomorrow there will be a match between Nepal and the UAE.
