Chairperson Dahal Calls for Action Against Guilty in Shera Durbar Land Scam

Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ has called on the government to take swift action against those involved in the embezzlement of Shera Durbar land in Nuwakot district.

Speaking at today’s meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives, Dahal emphasized his full support for reclaiming the Shera Durbar land under government ownership.

“Take decisive action if any activities have been carried out in violation of the law. I commend the government’s efforts if the Shera Durbar land is restored, much like the case of Lalita Niwas,” he stated.

The former Prime Minister stressed the importance of holding those responsible for illegally transferring state and government land into private ownership accountable under the law. He further urged the government to investigate and take action against individuals involved in other corruption scandals.

The Shera Durbar land scam has garnered significant attention, with calls for robust legal action to ensure accountability and safeguard public property.
