Chand Advocates Linking Politics with Economic Revolution

Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) has emphasized the importance of connecting politics with economic revolution to achieve the nation’s prosperity.
Addressing a press meet organized by the party in Birendranagar, Surkhet, today, Chand stated that building a self-sufficient nation through agricultural and economic revolution should be the primary political agenda. He criticized leaders who only engage in rhetoric without taking action, asserting that genuine transformation is impossible without production-oriented initiatives.
“Access to materialistic comfort without production is either corruption or exploitation. There is no alternative to engaging in production. The nation cannot achieve prosperity through foreign aid or loans,” Chand remarked.
He highlighted the need to promote apple farming and other agricultural activities in Karnali, aligning them with the region’s potential. Chand also noted that public sentiment favors the unity of Maoist factions to collectively advance the country’s development.
