Chandra Prasad Dhakal Re-elected as Chairman of Global IME Bank Limited
Chandra Prasad Dhakal has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Global IME Bank Limited. The announcement was made following the first meeting of the 6-member board of directors, a result of the 17th annual general meeting held on Thursday.
Chandra Prasad Dhakal’s re-election as the Chairman was met with unanimous support from the board, reflecting the confidence and trust placed in his leadership. Dhakal, who is also the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.
The newly elected board of directors includes prominent figures such as Ram Bahadur Bhandari and Radhesh Pan from the founder shareholders, along with Narayan Prasad Paudel, Madanlal Joshi, and Krishna Prasad Sharma representing the general shareholders.
Chandra Prasad Dhakal is set to take the oath of office and secrecy from the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. Following this, as the newly elected Chairman, Dhakal will administer the oath to the other directors, solidifying the leadership structure of Global IME Bank Limited.
