Chief Justice’s Office Denounces Fake Twitter Account

The private secretariat of Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut has expressed concern over a fake Twitter (X) account created in his name, clarifying that CJ Raut does not have an official Twitter account.

In a press statement, Deputy Registrar Nawin Kumar Yadav addressed media reports suggesting that an irrelevant post from the fake account had raised suspicions of hacking. The secretariat strongly condemned the misleading content, calling it an attempt to undermine public trust in the judiciary and tarnish the Chief Justice’s reputation.

The statement urged the public to disregard any posts from the fraudulent account and demanded the immediate removal of the misleading content. It also confirmed that investigative agencies have been instructed to take action against those responsible.
