Chinese Delegation to Arrive in Nepal Tomorrow
The delegation from the Chinese Communist Party is scheduled to visit Nepal on Thursday (tomorrow).
Sun Haiyan, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party, will lead the delegation during their four-day stay in Nepal.
Sun Haiyan formerly served as the Chinese Ambassador to Singapore.
According to diplomatic sources, Vice Minister Sun is slated to address a seminar on Nepal-China relations at Hotel Solti on January 28. The seminar will be attended by leaders from major political parties, including Nepali Congress, UML, Maoists, RPP, and RSP.
During the visit, Vice Minister Sun is also scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chair KP Oli, and other prominent leaders.
