Chitra Bahadur KC wins HoR seat from Baglung-1

Chitra Bahadur KC, chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha, has won a seat in the House of Representatives from Baglung Constituency-1.
According to the voting results published by the Election Commission on Wednesday, KC, a candidate on behalf of the five-party alliance, defeated UML’s Surya Pathak by a margin of 2,663 votes.
KC received 21,451 votes while his closest competitor Pathak got 18,825 votes.
Khimananda Kandel of Rastriya Swatantra Party stood third with 9,174 votes.
