Chokhal elected President of FHEN, Gandaki
Hotel entrepreneur Arjun Chokhal has been unanimously elected the President of the Federation of Hotel Entrepreneurs Nepal (FHEN), Gandaki Province.
Its first general convention held in Pokhara also picked a 29-member executive committee.
Durga Bilas Bhattarai has been chosen as senior vice president, Hari Prasad Pandeya vice president, Tulasi Gyawali women vice president, and Devendra Lamsal general secretary.
Likewise, Balkrishna Neure was elected deputy general secretary, Gopal Paudel treasurer and Prahlad Jung Marasini joint secretary.
Its elected members are Mina Kumari Shrestha, Giri Bahadur Thapa, Tal Bahadur Kunwar, Kabita Basnet, Guna Devi Jugjali Chhetri, Nilesh Rajbhandari, Jiban Kumar Punmagar, Buddhi Sagar Paudel, Indudevi Shrestha, Kanchan Sharma Baral, Nishi Prasad Timilsina, Moti Krishna Upadhyay, Yamlal Sapkota, Bidur Dhungana, Tilak Prasad Tiwari and Prem Prasad Neupane.
Tenure of the picked executive committee will be three years.
Around 8,000 hotel and restaurant entrepreneurs have been associated with the federation, said FHEN general secretary, Lamsal.
