CIAA Pursues Corruption Charges Against Immigration Department Head

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has initiated corruption proceedings against Rudra Singh Tamang, the director general of the Department of Immigration.

Tamang has been found to have engaged in irregularities in the supply chain of the Melamchi Water Project. He was one of the board members of the Melamchi Water Supply Development Committee.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case today against 18 individuals, including Rudra Singh Tamang.
