Vice Chairman Bater of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the latter’s office in Singhadurbar on Sunday. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to bilateral relations, mutual cooperation, and the implementation of bilateral agreements and consensus.
Prime Minister Prachanda expressed satisfaction with the gradual implementation of various agreements signed between Nepal and China during his recent visit to China, according to Dr. Rupak Sapkota, the PM’s Foreign Advisor.
Additionally, the Prime Minister thanked the Chinese government for its decision to reopen 14 traditional border points along the Nepal-China border. He also expressed confidence in the gradual implementation of other agreements between the two countries.
Furthermore, they discussed plans to expand parliamentary exchanges between Nepal and China. Vice Chairman Bater emphasized that China prioritizes its relations with Nepal and intends to deepen cooperation in various areas in the future.
