Dalai Lama Sends Condolence Message to PM Dahal

The Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Buddhist monk, has expressed sorrow over the damage caused by the devastating earthquake in western Nepal. While sending a condolence message to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ he conveyed his sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives in the earthquake.

In his condolence message, he stated, ‘I offer my condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones and pray for all those affected by this tragedy.’

He also expressed his belief that the Nepalese government and related agencies are working diligently to assist those affected by the earthquake.

In a show of solidarity with the people of Nepal, he has also announced that he will provide financial support for rescue and relief efforts.

On the night of last Friday, 153 people lost their lives in Jajarkot and Rukum West due to the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck through Ramidanda in Jajarkot. Additionally, more than 200 people have been injured, and significant damage to property has occurred.

At 4:31 PM on Monday, another earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in the same area, and shortly after that, at 4:40 PM, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred near Painak in Jajarkot.
