Deepak Raj Joshi Appointed as CEO of Nepal Tourism Board for the Second Time

The government has appointed Deepak Raj Joshi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
Joshi, who previously held the position from 2015 to 2020, was selected for a four-year term during a meeting of the NTB Board of Directors on Thursday, according to Senior Director and Spokesperson Nandini Lahe Thapa.
Joshi was chosen over former CEO Dhananjaya Regmi and Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato, both of whom were shortlisted for the role by the Section Committee.
Speaking to epardafas after his appointment, Joshi acknowledged the challenges ahead, citing limited resources and the high expectations of the tourism sector. He expressed his commitment to delivering results despite these obstacles.
