29th Jun 2024
Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a significant meeting on Saturday.
Deuba, accompanied by his wife Arzu, arrived at Oli’s residence in Balkot at 3:30 PM, where the two leaders engaged in a conversation lasting about two and a half hours.
While the specifics of their discussion remain undisclosed, sources suggest that the meeting signals the beginning of dialogue between Nepal’s two major parties.
Deuba reportedly aimed to address Oli’s dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s cabinet and to foster stronger cooperation.
