Dev Gurung Demands Judicial Probe into Alleged Irregularities in Pokhara Airport Construction

CPN (Maoist Centre) General Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung has called for a judicial investigation into suspected irregularities in the construction of Pokhara International Airport.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Press Centre Nepal in Pokhara on Thursday, Gurung urged authorities to take the findings of a parliamentary sub-committee report seriously and launch an impartial probe.
He emphasized that the allegations raised during the airport’s construction process warranted legal scrutiny, and that only a judicial inquiry could ensure transparency and accountability.
While criticizing the irregularities, Gurung also expressed a willingness to cooperate with the coalition government, led by the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML), on matters that serve the national interest. He affirmed that his party would continue to support positive initiatives undertaken by the ruling alliance.
