Dr. Devkota Appointed Vice-Chair of Gandaki Policy and Planning Commission

Dr. Krishna Chandra Devkota has been appointed as the vice-chairperson of the Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission. The appointment was made on Thursday by Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey.

Dr. Devkota, a resident of Palungtar Municipality-3 in Gorkha, previously held the same position. He brings extensive academic credentials to the role, having earned his PhD in Geology from Kyungpook National University in South Korea. Dr. Devkota is also associated with the Global Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (GIIS).

Chief Minister Pandey administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr. Devkota on the same day as his appointment.
