
Earthquake damages buildings of 14 schools in Bheri Municipality

Fourteen school buildings have been completely damaged by earthquake in Bheri Municipality.
Similarly, 78 school buildings have been partially damaged due to the tremor that struck Jajarkot on November 3, the Municipality’s data shows.
The Municipality said 47 classrooms, nine toilets and four fences in the school compound have been completely damaged while 78 school buildings, 171 classrooms, 38 toilets, nine fences, one science lab, nine ICT labs and two solar systems have been partially damaged.
Likewise, 11 students have been killed, and three teachers and 31 students have sustained injuries in the Municipality due to the tremor.
