Earthquake Shakes Kathmandu and Western Nepal

In a startling event, an earthquake rattled the capital city of Kathmandu and several surrounding districts today. At precisely 3:11 PM local time, residents in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur, and neighboring areas experienced the shockwaves of the earthquake.

As of now, authorities have not released information regarding the epicenter’s location and the earthquake’s intensity.

Additionally, reports have emerged of a separate earthquake in western Nepal. At 3:5 PM, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck with its epicenter in Bajhang.
