EC Sets April 27 for Crucial By-Election in Illam and Bajhang

The Election Commission has announced April 27 as the date for a significant by-election in Illam and Bajhang , following the untimely demise of key representatives.
The decision, made after a meeting of office bearers on Sunday, will see the by-election taking place in Illam constituency 2 and Bajhang Provincial Assembly constituency 1.
The passing of House of Representatives (HoR) member Subhash Nembang from Illam and Provincial Assembly member Prithvi Bahadur Singh from Bajhang has necessitated these by-elections.
