Enjoy Free Parking at Dharahara Premises
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced a new initiative to offer free vehicle parking services at the iconic Dharahara premises in Sundhara starting today.
Effective immediately, free parking services will be accessible on the first floor of the building adjacent to the newly constructed Dharahara Tower, as disclosed by city officials. This move follows the recent prohibition of roadside parking in the New Road area, emphasizing the city’s commitment to organized and efficient traffic management.
Rajunath Pandey, the Head of City Police, shared that in addition to the complimentary parking services at Kathmandu Tower (formerly known as the bus park), free parking will also be extended to the Dharahara premises. A generous area spanning 50,000 square feet has been allocated for this purpose, providing a convenient parking solution for residents and visitors alike.
To access the free parking at Dharahara, individuals can make use of the road leading to Khichapokhari from Kathmandu Mall. This initiative not only aims to alleviate parking concerns but also encourages a smoother flow of traffic in the bustling city center.
Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy hassle-free parking at one of Kathmandu’s iconic landmarks – Dharahara premises.
