Today, at 7:25 am local time, amidst treacherous terrain and soaring altitudes, Kami Rita reached the summit of Mount Everest for an unprecedented 29th time, solidifying his status as the undisputed champion of the world’s tallest peak.

The news was confirmed by Tashi Lakpa Sherpa, CEO of 14 Peaks Expedition, who hailed Kami Rita’s remarkable achievement as a testament to his unwavering dedication and unparalleled skill. “This morning, Kami Rita Sherpa successfully summited the world’s highest mountain for an incredible 29th time,” Tashi Lakpa proclaimed, echoing the sentiments of an entire global community in awe of Kami Rita’s unparalleled perseverance.

A native of Thame village in Solukhumbu, Nepal, Kami Rita Sherpa’s journey to mountaineering greatness began over two decades ago, fueled by an unyielding passion for the mountains and an unrelenting spirit of adventure. Born on January 2, 1970, Kami Rita’s indomitable will and fearless resolve have propelled him to the summit of Everest time and time again, inspiring generations of climbers and adventurers around the world.

According to Tashi Lakpa, Kami Rita’s mountaineering odyssey commenced in 1992 when he first ventured to Everest as a support staff member. Since then, Kami Rita has conquered Everest multiple times, transcending the boundaries of human achievement with each successive ascent.
