Fair Weather Across Nepal; Slight Warm-Up in Kathmandu Valley
Nepal will experience mainly fair weather today, influenced by westerly winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. While the overall weather is partly cloudy, parts of the Tarai region are witnessing thick fog.
The weather is expected to remain clear in the afternoon and night across the country. However, heavy fog is forecast in many areas of the Tarai and the Valley on Monday morning, which could disrupt daily life, transportation, and flights for a few hours. The Department has urged caution during this period.
Residents of Kathmandu Valley are enjoying slightly warmer weather today compared to Saturday, which recorded the coldest day of the year with a temperature of 2°C. This morning, the temperature was 4.5°C, and the day’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 16°C and 18°C.
