Fair Weather Expected Across Most of Nepal, Light Rain and Snowfall Likely in Hilly Areas

Most parts of Nepal will experience fair weather today, while the hilly regions may see some light rain and snowfall due to the partial influence of westerly and local winds.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas, with fair conditions prevailing across the rest of the country. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in one or two areas of the hilly regions in Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. There is also a chance of light snowfall in a few higher hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy, with a similar possibility of brief rain, thunderstorms, and light snowfall over the next 24 hours.

The Division has advised residents and travelers in these regions to remain alert and take necessary precautions.
