Fair Weather Expected Across Most Parts of the Country

The country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Most areas are expected to see fair weather, with only some regions experiencing slight variations.

The hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will have partly cloudy conditions, while other provinces are likely to enjoy generally clear weather. By afternoon, the hilly areas across the country may see increased cloud cover, but fair weather is expected to prevail in most regions.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, the high hilly and mountainous areas of these provinces may experience light snowfall in isolated spots.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with a chance of light snowfall in some of their high-altitude areas. Similar conditions are expected in the next 24 hours.

The Division has advised caution regarding potential minor disruptions to daily life, agriculture, health, roadways, and aviation due to possible snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
