Fair Weather Expected Across Nepal Today, Fog in Terai and Hilly Regions

Nepal is currently experiencing the influence of westerly winds, leading to foggy conditions in many parts of the Terai region and some hilly areas of Gandaki Province.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather this afternoon is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions and fair across the rest of the country. The far-western hilly areas may also see some cloud cover, while the rest of the nation will enjoy predominantly fair weather.

Foggy conditions are forecast for Thursday morning in many parts of the Terai and the Kathmandu Valley. The Department has advised caution, as the fog could disrupt daily life, affect health, and impact transport and aviation services.

Residents are urged to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions, particularly in areas prone to dense fog.
