False allegations aimed at destroying my reputation, says NC leader Arzu Rana

Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, a central member of the Nepali Congress (NC) and a parliamentarian, has come out and accused certain individuals of attempting to besmirch her good name and character by making completely false and unsubstantiated allegations against her. She expressed her anger and frustration at these individuals, stating that they were intent on destroying her reputation and credibility through their malicious actions.

Dr. Rana, who also happens to be the spouse of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday, released a statement claiming that her personal and political character was being murdered.

In the statement, she stated that she had become the target of people with the intention of assassinating her personal and political character.

Dr. Rana emphasized that while every person has the right to freely express their opinions, no one has the right to make unfounded allegations against anyone else. She further stated that it was deplorable that some people had given media interviews making baseless accusations against her, with the sole purpose of assassinating her character.

In addition to her statement regarding the alleged character assassination, Dr. Rana has also made a request to the media. She has urged them not to publish any baseless reports that could further damage her personal and political reputation.
