Finance Minister to reply to questions raised during budget deliberations in HoR
The House of Representatives (HoR) has kicked off its session today. The lower house of the Federal Parliament will be holding general deliberations on the Annual Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for Fiscal Year 2023/24 in the meeting today.
Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat is scheduled to respond to queries raised in course of the deliberations on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the upcoming fiscal year, it is stated.
Similarly, also today the Finance Minister will table the Appropriation Bill, 2023 and the Bill to Mobilise National Loans, 2023 in the parliament. Likewise, the objection notice brought by lawmaker Prem Suwal against the proposal seeking permission to present the two bills in the House will also be put for a decision by the House.
