Five Killed in Jajarkot Jeep Accident

A tragic road accident in Jajarkot has claimed the lives of five individuals, leaving one injured. The incident occurred when a Bolero jeep, traveling from Ward 5, Kalimati, to Nalgad Municipality-3, veered off the road and crashed.

Inspector Arjun Timilsina of the District Police Office confirmed the identities of the deceased: Indrajit Thapa, 32 (the driver), Shila Pun, 65, Sharda Thapa, 33, Laxmi Pun Roka, 18, and her young son Alochan Roka, all from Nalgad Municipality-3.

The injured individual is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

Road accidents in the region remain a pressing concern, with poor road conditions and vehicle maintenance often cited as contributing factors.
