President Paudel, present to inaugurate the 7th Baglung Festival, honored Dhakal, a native of Amalachaur in Baglung municipality-12, and Sherchan, who also hails from the same district.
The Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry acknowledged Dhakal and Serchan for their remarkable contributions to the business sector, introducing Baglung district prominently on the economic map.
Dhakal, who leads the IME Group, expressed his gratitude, stating that receiving this honor in his hometown was a particularly cherished experience. The recognition stands as a testament to their dedication and impact in shaping the economic landscape of Baglung.
The festival’s inauguration also featured the felicitation of various local residents for their significant contributions to the organization of the festival since its inception. The festival, making a physical return after a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is scheduled to run until January 6, 2024.
