Foreign Minister Shrestha Gears Up for Visit to China
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is poised to embark on an visit to China this Sunday. The visit comes in response to an invitation extended by Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister of China.
The secretariat of the Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Minister Shrestha’s trip is part of a goodwill mission aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Nepal and China.
During his visit, Minister Shrestha is expected to engage in discussions with Minister Wang Yi, focusing on various matters of mutual interest. Additionally, he will participate in a special event organized by the Embassy of Nepal in China.
Minister Shrestha’s visit underscores the importance Nepal places on its relationship with China and its commitment to fostering diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister is slated to return to Nepal on April 1 following the conclusion of his official engagements in China.
